Ласты обеспечивают взрывные скорости при старте с места, а также дают возможность поддерживать их длительное время при работе всей площади лопасти. Галоша выполнена из резины, имеющей большую эластичность, и имеет отверстие в носовой части для свободного удаления песка.
Язычок на пятке упрощает процесс одевания ласты и предохраняет её от возможных прорывов галоши.
